The newly designed tech surpasses LED technology by light years (yes, that pun was intentional). They are, in fact, 1,000 times stronger than LED headlamps, and what's more, they consume roughly half the energy.

Light emitted from the lasers, employed in BMW's laser-cut headlamps, will be made benign by carefully placing a conversion filter over them. This way, oncoming drivers will only see it as a bright and white color... no harm done to their vision.
